PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS & INFORMATION ON HOW TO USE AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR WATCH BEFORE YOU HANDLE THEM. IT WILL DEFINITELY LET YOU ENJOY A MORE WORTHWILE EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR WATCH.

WATER RESISTANCE/WATER PROOF

True, many watches are water-resistant, but it's still best to keep them away from water to ascertain that the watch crown is tightly screwed so that water and moisture are kept at bay. All watches have been checked to be in working condition before these are sent out.

Please avoid wearing your watch when you go swimming or even when taking a shower. This is to prevent accidental moisture or water from getting in. We at Time Traditions can't guarantee the watch if an accidental usage results in water or moisture getting into the watch.

Q1. AFTER RECEIVING THE WATCH, WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST I DO FIRST?

A1. Upon receiving the watch, kindly wind it. More often than not, the watch might lose its energy during its journey. Do this by winding the crown 15-20 times, clockwise. However, if your watch is running on battery, then there is no need for you to do this. If your watch has a screw-tight crown, release it by turning it counter clockwise until it's loose. You can then proceed with the afore-mentioned tip of winding it 15-20 times, clockwise. Once it is done, you can screw it tight by pushing the crown inside. Turn the crown clockwise and screw it tight back simultaneously. By doing a manual winding of the watch, your watch will start to tick.

Q2. WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN MY WATCH STOPS EVEN IF IT'S AUTOMATIC?

A2. This could mean that the battery has been used up - as what happens when your watch is a quartz version. Kindly change the battery.

If it's an automatic watch, it's running on stored energy. It gains energy from human hand kinetic movement. Therefore, if you don't wear it, it will stop working. To make it tick again, you have to wind it for 10 to 12 rounds by turning the crown clockwise. Adjusting the day and date correctly depends on whether it's controlled by the crown or by a recessed button pusher. Adjust accordingly then. If day and date are set through the crown, pull that lightly once. Pull it out twice to set the time. If it is a screw in crown, unscrew the crown anti-clockwise and follow the same actions to adjust Date/Day and Time.

Q3. WHAT SHOULD I DO TO ADJUST THE TIME?

A3. If your watch has a screw-in crown, unscrew it and turn it counter-clockwise. But this, you should do gently and softly. The best way to do this is to use first and second finger and use finger knuckle as a lever so as to pull the crown out with as little force as possible. You can feel a little click! Now you can adjust the time by turning it anti-clockwise. This then allows you to turn the hands forward so you can set the right time. As soon as you achieve the correct time, push back the button and screw it back tightly.

Q4. HOW IS THE GMT AND LOCAL TIME SET?

A4. GMT means Dual Time Zone and it typically utilizes a 24-hour clock instead of a 12-hour clock that we normally use. This feature allows for the setting of 2 time zones. There is a minute-hour hand and a red (usually) arrow second-time for local and GMT times, respectively.

Kindly follow the steps mentioned below when adjusting the time:

1. Slowly and softly unwind the crown anti-clockwise until it becomes loose. To pull out the button stem, you can choose between two steps, which shall be discussed below. Remember to do it gently - and never exert too much force.

2. STEP ONE is for setting the GMT second time zone. STEP TWO is for setting the local time. Pull one-step out is used to set GMT and date by winding the button clockwise and anticlockwise respectively. Pull one more step is for setting local time. Pushing the crown inward If you push back the crown inward one step, this will bring the setting to GMT. On the other hand, if you push it back 2 steps, you'll be taken to the normal position - and you can then wind this clockwise and gently push it back so the crown can be secured onto the watchcase.

3. Set local time FIRST and then GMT SECOND time zone. As you change the local time, the GMT automatically changes too.

Q5. WHEN DO I NEED TO CHANGE THE BATTERY OF MY QUARTZ WATCH?

A5. A new battery will normally last for 2 years. Depending on the time of the last replacement, you would probably need to change battery within 2 years.

Q6. I HAVE A WATCH WITH DATE, HOW DO I CHANGE THE DATE?

A6. To adjust date and time you need to do the following. If you have a screw-in crown such as in a Rolex, you need to turn the crown anti-clockwise for a few rounds until the crown becomes loose. Slowly, pull out the crown with the use of your thumb's and first finger's nails. Please do this gently to avoid damage to the stem. You must feel a click here. There are 2 steps when you pull the crown out. The first one lets you set the date (and day, if applicable. The second step sets the local time (see Q2 and A2 for details). You can only set Date forward by turning the crown in one direction. When you're done with setting the date and time, push back the crown and wind it clockwise for a few times to lock it.

Q7. WHAT IS SCREW-IN CROWN? HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS?

A7. A screw-in crown is one that locks into the watch case when you wind it clockwise. It will tighten when it is screwed tight. A screw-in crown is used by most of the Rolex watches. To unwind the crown in your Panerai replica watch, turn the button counter clockwise until it comes out by about 1.0 to 1.5mm. Do not force the crown to come out because it'll easily break the stem link with the watch. As soon as the crown comes out, start setting the time, date and date - as you do with other watches. Locking the crown is accomplished by carefully turning it and pushing it toward the watch. Again, there's no need to exert extra force here. For most other non screw-in crown watches, you simply wind it, adjust time, date, day without the need to un-screw the crown.

Q8. WHAT'S A RECESSED PUSHER? HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM THE PUSHER BUTTONS THAT ARE NOT RECESSED?

A8. Recessed pushers are those buttons that are placed in the watch body, for aesthetic effects, most specifically. Many watches already contain a lot of push buttons - making recessed ones saves on space and makes the watch more visually stimulating. Normally, recessed pushers are for setting date, year or day, etc. To push the recessed button all-the-way, make use of a ball-point pen; this makes the desired changes. Repeat the process until you get the change that you want. Do not push half way or release half way, it will sometimes cause the gear to change half way and make it indicate the wrong information and it might damage other mechanical parts in the movement of the watch.

Q9. HOW DO I USE THE STOPWATCH FUNCTION IN MY ROLEX DAYTONA WITH VALJOUX 7750B1 MOVEMENT WITH FUNCTIONAL CHRONOS?

A9. Chronograph buttons, which have protective-screw locks for added protection, are present in the Daytona. This feature is unique to the Rolex Daytona. When you need to push the button, you need to un-wind the protective-screw to the level of the inside button, then you can push the button and press the button. Make sure to push it all the way and fully release it when pushing. Doing this halfway may cause mechanical problems.

Q10. WHAT IS A TACHYMETER AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

A10. A tachymeter is a scale on the dial. In reality, several sports version watches have it either on the rim or bezel. It functions together with the second hand, measuring speed of a moving object. A tachymeter gets a value determined in less than a minute and converts it into miles/hour. This could be used, for example, to measure the time that it takes for a car to travel from one mile marker to another. When the car gets to the second marker, the second hand will be pointing to the car's speed in miles per hour on the tachymetric scale.

Q11.HOW DO I PROPERLY USE THE STOPWATCH FUNCTION ON VALJOUX 7750B1 MOVEMENT?

A11. To avoid damaging the Follow these steps to make sure that the fragile mechanisms of the Valjoux 7750b1 are not damaged.

Do not adjust the date when your time is between 10:00 and 3:00 if your Valjoux 7750b1 has a date function. Otherwise, you will unknowingly ruin the internal gears. Instead, manually adjust the time to 6:00 and change the DATE after.

In addition, don't forget to depress the pusher button on top to start and stop the stopwatch function if you are using the chronograph functions of the Valjoux 7750b1.

DON'T FORGET: START & STOP is TOP Pusher Button

ONLY after you STOP the stopwatch, then you depress the lower pusher button to RESET the stopwatch function. DON'T DEPRESS the lower pusher button when the stopwatch function is still running. ONLY Depress the lower pusher button after you STOP the chronograph.

If you follow the instructions thoroughly, your watch will last you a long time. Since thesewatches aren't made to COSC standards, nor are they SWISS GENEVE made or stamped, they would not last a lifetime. Remember a Panerai replica is always a replica, but do enjoy them as at a fraction of the cost, these cosmetically perfect replicas are a joy to wear, aren't they?

Some additional 7750/7750b1/7753 Valjoux Movement Information

*If your watch has the above movement, kindly read these data carefully.

1. How do you set the date on 7750 or 7753 or 7750b1 or any movement with date chrono/ automatic?

Do not activate the chrono unless you've done all these steps as discussed.

When you receive watch, remember to hand-wind it for about 50 times so generate enough power. When needed, shake it like a mad cow for about 3 to 4 minutes - again, this is done to generate more power reserve.

To manually set the hour-hand and to determine when it is AM or PM, pull out the crown. You will know when it is an AM or a PM because the date changes too. Of course, be certain that you know if it's AM or PM before proceeding.

Make sure you don't change the date between 10pm-2am ever!!! Do not ask me why because it is just the way it works. If you adjust between 10pm-2am, the date will jam or go half way.

Once the AM/PM is confirmed, proceed by turning the crown until the desired date is obtained.

As for the timer hand to reset back to zero, it's dumb luck....you may get a perfect reset, or less than perfect reset. Even my genuine Rolex Daytona did not reset to zero until after 3 months. Lasty, ascertain that everytime you activate chrono, you have enough power reserve. Enjoy!
