Hydroponic Growing

Hydroponic growing is where it's at! Hydroponics (from the Greek words hydro water and ponos labor) is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions, in water, without soil. Terrestrial plants may be grown with their roots in the mineral nutrient solution only or in an inert medium, such as perlite, gravel, or mineral wool. Rapidly becoming the new standard in growing environments, greenhouses can produce year-round because they are completely immune to the weather outside. Think what that means for you. While others wait for the tomato season to begin, you could be out there making gorgeous tomatoes and selling them at high prices because of their high demand!

And tomatoes are just a start. Lettuce is also a very popular product, and many more herbs, fruits and vegetables are easily grown all year-round. The experience you gain from hydroponic growing can be applied to any other hydroponic crop you decide to grow in the future. So, whatever you want to put in your pipe, hydroponic growing is the way to go.
