This first tip is one you'll have never even considered or perhaps thought about it

Employ a meat tenderizer. Yep! You heard me in the right way. Just mix water and beef tenderizer in a bowl. Once it has thickened into a paste simply use it directly to the sting or bite. There's a good chance your dog will experience just about instant relief. The best thing is you won't have to worry about it harming your pet so you can reapply it whenever needed.

Tip number 2: probabilities are this one is going to shock you, but again it works. With a cotton ball, dab ammonia without delay to the sting or bite. However, make efforts to duck the eyes and nose of your pet. Also if your animal has additional sensitive skin it's a brilliant idea not so use it to smooth bug bites and stings.

The 3rd tip is my absolute favorite, and Princess adores it, too! Whenever I can put my hands on aloe vera leaves, I use aloe vera gel. Except for a backup I keep an aloa vera gel that I get from my local drug store. Again, it's simply a matter of putting gel on the bite. The results are nearly immediate. Not only does it work good on my dog, it's used by me on myself for mosquito bits and the occasional wasp sting.

Now this tip is one which will scale back the swelling and itching straight away. This , however , requires patience, both from yourself and your dog. Search the area where your dog has been bitten if it's's a sting. It's likely that the stinger may still be there. You can then apply healing gel or try a cold cloth when you find it and remove it.

And in the topic of cold cloth, here's my last tip. Wrap many pieces of ice in a wash fabric, and use it on the bite or sting. Just like you, your animal will find it will smooth bug bites and stings.

If your asking if these tips are safe for your dog when your trying to relieve the agony and itching, check with your local vet. Or you can do more research to discover if these are safe. These smooth bug bites and stings tips aren't the only ones out there. It may pay you to find out about others.
