Film, Video, and Music Production

The music videos, music, TV shows, and motion pictures we enjoy are made from film, video, and music production. It in reality needs the big labor of numerous professional people, even if it seems like a kinda carefree process. The procedure itself can be broken down into five specific measures.

Development - This is where ideas happen, where executives brainstorm, authors write and the concept is hammered out. A script is penned to tell a story in two hours or less, if it's a movie. Story lines are flushed out to take a television show into many seasons. And if it is a music video, or a briefer kind video, the executives would determine how to best show the star (the band) and which song will be used. While yes, there are a lot more measures in the growth procedure demanding agents, managers, producers, stars, directors etc., development is the foremost step in the film, video, and music production procedure.

Pre-production - As soon as the development procedure is over, the project proceeds into pre-production.This is when casting agents begin auditioning actors, directors are employed, actors are employed, locations spotters look for places for shooting, legal departments start working and set construction is begun on sound stages. This is where the project's draft, produced in the development process, starts to take shape.

Production - This is the actual shooting or recording of the film, television show, song or music video. What the writers penned in the development process is rendered on film, and film crews gather in a studio back lot or a far off location for weeks, even months. Directors of Photography, sound engineers, carpenters, actors, drivers, caterers and producers work long, intense days to create what we all love to see in cinemas, on our TV's or computers.

Post-Production - The raw footages shot during production are adjusted, as well as incorporated with musical scores.

Sales and distribution - Once the ultimate project is over, which may last months to finish, the film is screened to possible purchasers who then in turn need to not just distribute it to theater chains, but market it as well. The billboards, the buses, the advertisements or on-line ads we watch are all fractions of the fantastic marketing process.

The movie, video, and music production procedure and its five measures is indeed complicated and fascinating.
