Compare Rolex Sea Dweller Replicas

This week I’m going over the differences between the cheap Rolex Sea Dweller replica versus the High end Rolex Sea Dweller replica. I’m going over the cheap one first. Really what I want to show are the main differences. Almost every part of these two watches is different, so I’m going to go over the main parts. This one has a flat crystal, as you can see, the bezel isn’t really contoured to the crystal that well. It has a pretty choppy sweeping second hand. It has go the emblem which looks fairly OK. As well as rotating bezel and inner O ring. It’s pretty thin, the original Deep Sea is really thick, it’s a pressurized watch. It’s made to go really deep. It’s got the helium release right here. I don’t know if you can hear it, but here is the sound of the movement (whirring sound)

It has, I believe the Rolex Submariner style new buckle, which is a T bar. The cheap one has a green hologram sticker with Rolex Deep Sea engraved on it, Sea Dweller. It has got the solid M links. The quality feels OK. I mean it feels heavy. You know it’s got a decent feel to it; it’s just there’s nothing that comes close to the original, with this watch.

Now we have the high end Rolex Sea Dweller replica, and as you can see the crystal is contoured. It has the convex crystal. This particular one has a ceramic bezel. It has a very tight ratcheting bezel. On this one you can see that the movement is a lot smoother. Yes, winding this watch you can feel the difference right off the bat. When you wind it up, there’s more of a zzzzzzzzzz-zzzzzzzzzz sound, rather than a click-click sound that this one has.

The thickness of this watch is about the same as the original. It’s very close, not exact, but really close. It has a larger helium release. The correct back on the case and solid M link. The right buckle with the divers extension, which you press in right here. this pushes up the middle piece. You can pull it, and it just extends out. It’s got all the correct markings on it. It folds in, and actually if you want to have it out this far, you can just close this and then it locks in place. You can adjust the size, push it in and close it down.

This one has a mineral crystal. The cheap ones are using a mineral crystal on it, the high end one they’re using a sapphire crystal. Another way you can tell is by the tint of the crystal. The mineral has a going to have a greenish- bluish tint; the sapphire crystal is going to have a pinkish tint. Now we go to the weight test. I’m gonna start off with the cheap Chinese replica; five point three ounces. Alright now we go on to the high end Rolex Sea Dweller replica; seven point two ounces. Big difference.
