There are only 3 hotels on the island of Oahu, outside of those in downtown and Waikiki, that is. Unfortunately, there are no hotels AT ALL in Kailua, Lanikai, Kaneohe, Waimanalo, and a large portion of the North Shore. This could mean two things: (1) search for Oahu Vacation Rentals or (2) get ready to drive a lot if you want to have that magical Oahu experience.
