Biomimetic Hormone Restoration for Men

Male menopause may include decreased muscle strength, reduced physical function, diminished libido, fatigue, depressed mood, and decreased generalized well-being.

Andropause in older men is defined as an age-related decline in serum testosterone in young men. It is often referred to as the male “menopause” and may include decreased muscle strength and/or endurance, decreased pubic and increased underarm hair, reduced physical function, diminished libido, fatigue, depressed mood, decreased generalized well-being, hot flashes, anemia, and osteoporosis/osteopenia.

According to a new study from Germany men probably will not live as long if they have low testosterone, regardless of their age. The study looked at death from any cause in almost 2,000 men aged 20 to 79 years with an average follow up time of seven years.

At the beginning of the study, 5 percent of these men had low blood testosterone levels, defined as the lower end of the normal range for young adult men. The men with low testosterone were older, more obese, and had a greater prevalence of diabetes and high blood pressure, compared with men who had higher testosterone levels.

Men with low testosterone levels had more than a 2.5 times greater risk of dying during the next 10 years compared to men with higher testosterone. This difference was not explained by age, smoking, alcohol intake, level of physical activity, or increased waist circumference, which is a risk factor in which increases when there is diabetes and heart disease.

Why must aging men with low testosterone, and men with prostate cancer, simply have to accept the loss of libido, energy, risk-taking, sleep and muscle mass to fight depression and the inevitability of man breasts and snoring that comes with changes in the hormone balance?

T.S. Wiley does not think they should, so that is why she developed The Wiley Protocol for Men™ for the men in your life, to restore lust and love, sleep, muscle mass, and bone health, and help to reduce depression. The Protocol uses testosterone and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) in a rhythmic, youthful physiologic dosing for health and anti-aging.

The rhythm for the Wiley Protocol for Men is based on a four-day sun cycle and magnetism. By contrast, the Wiley Protocol for Women™, the only cyclical, rhythmic bio-identical hormone replacement therapy for women, is about moon rhythms and light. Testosterone and DHEA, a precursor of testosterone and other sex hormones, are used with the rhythm of the sun cycles; DHEA is only applied in the morning when men’s androgens normally peak. Dose elevations occur every four days The elevation of doses happen every four days rather than every three days to allow DHEA to create more receptors for testosterone.

All the new research being done says that low testosterone levels can be associated with an increased risk of prostate cancer. The standard treatment for prostate cancer is androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), in which drugs or castration are used to reduce the testosterone levels in the prostate (and the rest of the body).

Unfortunately virtually all patients treated with ADT progress to metastatic disease. The research implies that men with prostate cancer who are being treated with ADT increase their risk of developing bone-and heart-related side effects compared to patients who do not take these medications.

Other studies of men with a history of prostate disease suggest that it may be low testosterone that indicates an increase in disease activity. Supplementing with testosterone may not only be safe but inhibit tumor cell growth.

We know that biomimetic rhythmic, cyclical hormone replacement can restore quality of life. Wiley’s Protocol for Men is the wave of the future, and as men become aware of this option, they will have a choice about aging.

Hawaii- A Brief History of Culture

The fall of King Kamehameha ushered in the beginning of a kingdom in Hawaii in 1809. To better control the trades, the new king moved to Honolulu. Honolulu was the perfect place because it was centrally located. When sugar plantations were established in the 1830s, Honolulu became a booming city with brothels and bars aplenty. In 1845 Honolulu officially replaced Maui as the capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii. The increasingly western influence led to Hawaii officially becoming a US territory in 1898, particularly Pearl Harbor. Political red tape that included failed bills and numerous arguments kept Hawaii from being declared a US state.

The gateway to allowing Hawaii to become an official state was tourism. In 1936, the first passenger flights from the mainland US to Hawaii was pioneered by Pan American Airlines. This resulted in a tourism boom. After the Pearl Harbor attacks and the Korean War, it became imperative for Hawaii to become an official state. Hawaii was declared the 50th state on August 21, 1959.
